Compost

Why you should compost:
Compost is a free and easy way of recycling, which helps plants grow. It is also environmentally friendly. Composting allows you to use your kitchen and garden waste to help your garden. You can include in your compost manure, dead plants, peels of fruits and much more. By inserting these things in your compost, you can make ‘food’ which is rich in nutrients for your garden.

How can you compost:
To make compost, get a box or another container with an open top. Get damp newspapers and cover the bottom and the sides with them. You then fill it with dirt and put some earthworms in it. You should then regularly feed the compost with manure, dead plants, peels of fruits etc. Things like meat, dairy products or cooked food should not be included in your compost because attract pests.
